ENDURANCE SERIES

INformation

DGFX Racing is now on it's 6th season of endurance racing. Partners with NEO Endurance, DGFX is one of the premiere endurance racing leagues offered on iRacing. As NEO Endurance is targeted towards the best teams in on iRacing, DGFX likes to cater towards the gentlemen teams as well as to the professional teams that are not quite fast enough to battle for podium in NEO.

One of the main things that separates DGFX from the other leagues on iRacing is that it is one of, if not the only sports car racing league on iRacing that utlilizes Full Course Cautions. While many might wonder why we use it, one of the main reasons is we are a North American based league

so we follow and mirror IMSA as close as possible. Another reason why is because we feel that it gives teams a great aspect in terms of strategy for the races. There is not a lot to do in terms of strategy when you run green from the time the green flag flies until the chequered waves. We have seen in previous seasons that teams who are laps down have played strategy right with the cautions to win races.

Exciting news for Season 6 is that we change from a calendar year championship (January to December) to a winter championship. Also we are extending the championship to 6 rounds from the previous season's 5 race length with the added bonus of a longer endurance race as the season finale.
