Black Adder Motorsport & Sweet Spot Racing Quickest in FP1

Black Adder Motorsport #68 took the top spot in FP1 when Sven Cammaerts laid down a lap of 1:57.321. While this is unconfirmed, it was believed that time was set on a lower fuel level based off of the lap chart; possibly preparing the teams qualifying setup.

NKH Racing's Niklas Hjelm took P2 in Prototype with a time of 1:57.848, 0.527s off Cammaerts time. The Black Adder Motorsports sister car took P3 with a 1:58.317, just under one second back from their sister car.

Laguna Seca's winner vApex Racing Group - Green barely missed out on P3 by 0.057s. Both vApex Racing Group - Green drivers posted the P4 and P5 times in the session.

Sweet Spot Racing's Martin Heller posted the fastest time for GTD in his Mercedes AMG GT3 with a time of 2:04.869, the only GTD driver managing to get into the 2:04s in FP1. Heller's co-driver David Kroell posted the second fastest time, 0.433s back.

Normal Audi front runners Hammer Down Racing, was third fastest with a time of 2:05.639 posted by Matt Quinn. Quinn's time was the only Audi in the top 5 in class.

Sweet Spot Racing's third driver Markus Ager posted the fourth fastest time of a 2:05.797. Black Adder Motorsport #67 was fifth in class with a time of 2:07.197 set by new to the series driver Rob Dorrough.
