RACE NOTES
***The P1 class saw it's 4th different class victor at Monza. The P1 class is the only remaining class that has not seen a repeat winner.
***Team Huesinkveld in the P2 class captured their 3rd straight win at Monza and are setting the benchmark as the team to beat in their class.
LEAGUE ORGANIZER'S NOTES
***After much community discussion on whether or not League Organizers Ed Voras and Kyle Birnie should be racing prior to Monza, an unfortunate self wreck in the first hour of the race ended their race early which lead them to making the decision to retire the car and focus on Race Control only. Even though there were no improvements on track with them not racing, both have decided to withdraw their P1 entry from the remainder of the season and focus primarily on Race Control and preparing for next season. Neither have ruled out driving in either of the team's GT AM entries for the final round of the season though.
***The #388 GT AM entry has officially withdrawn from the championship as well resulting in the #392 Graphite Racing entry being promoted to full season status for the remaining two rounds of the season.
***After post race review, League Organizers believe the issue with the FCY at the end of hour 3 that caused all cars who pit to receive a penalty for entering a closed pit was due to the overall leader "towing" when the caution was out causing a slight glitch in the programming of the FCY within the sim. This is still to be tested though.
***The additional man power in Race Control at Monza from the volunteers of team members who were not racing was a huge help internally.
***Car selection for Season 7 has already been determined and will depend on if any cars get released prior to the start of next season.
***Season 7 will see a reduction from 60 cars down to somewhere between 50-55 cars. This is mainly for the reason of Race Control not being able to see everything with a 60 car grid due to processing issues within the sim. This is the same issue we see with broadcast which is why special event broadcasts are limited to either a 50 or 55 car grid.
