vApex Racing Group - Green and 49 Motorsports both finished second in their class to capture both teams first championship of 2016.

The #99 Corvette C7 Daytona Prototype of vApex Racing Group - Green scored their third second place finish of the season clinching the teams first championship in the Prototype class. Mikey Grems and David Jaques drove a clean and uneventful race to match for the third straight time, their lowest finish of the season. The good result at COTA also made the team the most consistent team in either season of the 2016 DGFX Racing season.

49 Motorsports was in a winner take all scenario with fellow manufacture team Online-SimRacing.de. Dexter Castro did what he needed to do for the opening stint, keep the car clean and at least within reach of Online-SinRacing.de before handing the car over to the ever fast Amjed Yamin. Dexter did more than that by putting in a time to start ahead of their main competitors and staying in front through the entire stint. While Amjed did not have enough pace to run down Hammer Down Racing for the win, he kept the car on track and brought home the championship.
Both teams are looking forward to the season finale in a few weeks time at Road Atlanta to try and capture the Overall Championships as well. vApex Racing Group - Green and 49 Motorsports, should they choose to use their West Season points, will head into the finale with the point lead for said championship.
Road Atlanta will be broadcast in full by Global Sim Racing Channel for all to watch.
