We are proud to officially announce that NEO Endurance and DGFX Racing have officially become partners!

NEO is widely known as the pinnacle of multi-class road racing on the iRacing service. Multiple top professional sim racing teams and drivers from the iRacing World Championship Grand Prix Series and the iRacing Blancpain GT Series compete for the top honors within NEO each and every season.

The organizers have been in communication for the past few weeks about the partnership. Both sides wanted to make sure to keep the "roots" of each series as they currently are and create an end goal of a ladder system for the endurance leagues on iRacing.

The partnership we have formed is similar to the partnership between the ACO/FIA, WEC and IMSA. Both DGFX and NEO will run independently with schedules, procedures, car selection, etc. but will still be working together on various aspects both internally and publicly to create the best leagues for everyone. The ACO/FIA, WEC, and IMSA have an agreement that select teams (usually the champions) from IMSA are given an invite to participate in the following year's 24 Hours of Le Mans.

With that in mind, we are also able to announce that DGFX will be bringing back the yearly overall championship. The top 9 teams in the overall championship at the end of the year will get a free entry into the NEO Endurance Season Finale, the 24 Hours of Le Mans. These 9 teams will be allowed to run in any class they wish for the NEO 24 Hours of Le Mans. From here, the top 3 finishing teams at the end of the race will have secured a spot in the next season of NEO Endurance (entry fee for the following season is still required to be paid by the team).

The beautiful thing about the overall championship is that no matter what class you race in with DGFX, you will be competing with each and every team who participates in DGFX throughout a calendar year.

This partnership is the beginning of what the organizers of both leagues feel with be the start of a great endurance league ladder system on iRacing. It allows for established teams to develop young/new drivers and for new teams to create a name for themselves. DGFX's Ed Voras and Kyle Birnie along with NEO's Niel Hekkens are all very excited about the partnership and are looking forward to what is ahead.
