Cammaerts & Darling Take Top Honors in FP2

Both of Black Adder Motorsport's Prototype entries took the top two spots in FP2. Sven Cammaerts again posted the fastest time ahead of tomorrow's 6 Hours of Road America. While it was not as fast as the time posted in FP1, Cammaerts time of 1:57.591 was enough to take top honors from teammate Christopher Hendrich who was only 0.113s off the Cammaerts time.

NKH Racing's Niklas Hjelm was only 0.040s off of his time posted in FP1 which placed him in 3rd for the session. vApex Racing's Mikey Grems took P4 with a time of 1:57.910, improving on his FP1 time by 0.407s. Black Adder Motorsport's Ryan G Walker was 5th in class, 0.627s off the fastest lap.

As with Black Adder Motorsports, Hammer Down Racing took the top two spots in the GTD class in FP2 with Paul Darling setting a time of 2:04.801 and co-driver Matt Quinn posting a time of 2:05.534 in their Audi R8 LMS GT3. Darling's time was good enough to to take the top spot in both practice sessions.

Sweet Spot Racing took P3 and P5 with Markus Ager and David Kroell, respectivly. Ager's time was third quickest, 0.749s off of Darling's. Alessandro Longoni took his Black Adder Motorsport Mercedes AMG GT3 to P4 with a time of 2:05.623.

Final practice will take place tomorrow at 11:00AM EDT / 1500 GMT just before qualifying and the race.
