vApex Racing Group Clinches Overall Championship with 3 Hours Remaining at Road Atlanta

vApex Racing Group - Green have clinched the 2016 Prototype Overall Championship at the half way mark of the Season Finale. David Jaques and Mikey Grems had one big moment where a GTD car spun on the exit of T6 right in front of their car but were able to avoid the spinning car and keep the car clean.

Championship contenders, Black Adder Motorsport, were unfortunately in the wrong place at the wrong time when a GTD car lost control in T3 collecting their Daytona Prototype sending it into the wall receiving heavy damage. The incident in the first hour of the race was enough for the team to retire the car.

vApex Racing Group have set another goal for the race of sweeping the podium in the Prototype Class as they currently run in P1, P2 and P4
